A bit of this, a bit of that
- 250g dried fruit salad (apricots, prunes, figs, sliced pears and apples)
- 1 tablespoon runny honey
- 1 cinnamon stick, broken in half
- 3 slices of lemon
- 300ml boiling water
- To serve:
- Onken Natural Yogurt
- Crunchy Granola cereal
- Runny honey (optional)
- 1 Place the dried fruit, honey, cinnamon stick, lemon slices and boiling water into a medium pan, cover and gently bring to the boil, reduce heat to a simmer for 20 minutes until all the fruit is soft. Allow to stand for 30 minutes or longer.
Serve a portion topped with the yogurt and crunchy granola.
Cooks Tip: In winter why not serve the fruit salad with porridge topped with a couple of spoonfuls of Onken Natural yogurt.
