Passionfruit Waffles


  • 250ml Onken Light & Fruity Passionfruit yogurt
  • 250ml milk
  • 125g unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 3 eggs – beaten
  • 300g self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
Optional topping
  • Onken Light & Fruity Passionfruit yogurt
  • passionfruit
  • pomegranate seeds
  • honey


1.Preheat your waffle maker

2.Whisk together the Onken Light & Fruity Passionfruit yogurt, milk, butter and eggs and the lemon zest and set aside

3.Transfer the flour and lemon zest into a large bowl and make a well in the centre

4.Slowly whisk the passionfruit mixture into the flour and make a batter – don’t worry if there are some lumps!

5.Cook the waffles according to the instructions on your waffle maker until the batter is finished

6.Serve with passionfruit topping
